2021 - 2022 Call for Nominations The National Procurement Institute (NPI) Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for 2021-2022 Officers and Directors and 2021 Honorary Members. Officers and Directors This is your chance to be part of the leadership of the National Procurement Institute! The NPI Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for 2021 – 2022 NPI Officers and Directors. In accordance with the NPI Constitution and Bylaws, the governing body of NPI consists of six Officers and six Directors. The six Officers are the Immediate Past President, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and AEP Officer. Each Officer serves for a one-year term. Each Director serves a two-year term. The Nominating Team is hereby accepting nominations for the following positions: Secretary (1) Directors (4) Eligibility requirements per Article I of the NPI Bylaws: Candidates for any Officer or Director Position must have been a member in good standing for at least one year immediately preceding the election. Candidates for the office of Secretary must have served at least one year on the Board of NPI. Members whose employers are not public agencies may serve on the Board provided that such person does not solicit business on behalf of such person or his or her employer during any NPI activity. Honorary Members Each year, extraordinary contributors to the public procurement profession retire from service. Honorary Membership in NPI is just one way we can pay tribute to our retiring peers.
